About me
My name is Emiel ten Voorde. Born in 1969 in Neede. I graduated at Saxion in the field of Personnel Management. Since 1996 I have been working for events and social projects. In positions such as account manager, event manager and project coordinator. In 2015 - 2016 I was trained as a child and youth coach. From March 2016 - December 2019 I supervised students of the ROC van Twente who want to learn how to plan and organize their study activities. I did that in addition to my regular work. Since January 2020 I am fully focused on coaching young people. What I do as a youth coach I support young people who want to learn how to plan and organize their school and study activities. For most of the young people I coach, insufficient study results are the immediate reason to request support. I come into their lives as soon as the results deteriorate so fast (or have already deteriorated) that the critical situation arises that they have to stop their study or cannot continue further education. My approach Planning and organizing: one person has more feeling for this than the other, but everyone can learn. My approach is that in a short and intensive period I can learn youngsters to plan and organize their school and study life. In a way that suits him/her. Often positive results are visible after a few weeks. And as soon as things get better at school, it is also noticeable on other fronts. The trajectories that I offer consist of a combination of 1-on-1 work sessions, online coaching and an online 'helpline' via WhatsApp. The work sessions can be given at home, at / near school or in my practice in Weerselo. I guide young people in Dutch, German and English. For whom The young people I work for are around 14 - 25 years old.
